Words from the founders

Andreas and Irina Wiebe

In the digital world, there is a lot of misery that is not immediately recognizable. Children and young people are affected the most and are usually the victims. It is time to train and educate teachers, children and young people. After 25 years of experience in the IT sector, we are taking on this task and passing on our knowledge.

It's time to change the course of the world and make it better, safer and stronger.

Columbia

In Maicao, a town in the northern department of Guajira in Colombia, the number of street children may be lower, but the poverty level of the indigenous population there, the Wayas, means that parents can barely feed their children more than once or twice a week. Families who are neglected by the state live in simple cardboard houses and have no access to clean drinking water.
The school, which was built in one of the rancherias, provides vital support for many local families. The children who attend this school not only enjoy learning, but also show impressive intelligence.

Haiti

After the devastating earthquake in Haiti in 2010, not only the capital Port-au-Prince but also numerous coastal areas were severely affected. Around 300,000 people lost their lives and three million were affected by the consequences, leaving many homeless. Other catastrophic events such as epidemics, landslides, floods, droughts and hurricanes occurred in the following years.
Political instability, unemployment, absolute poverty and hunger have led to a low life expectancy of just 40 years and an alarmingly high infant mortality rate. The literacy rate is only 20-25% and the country is confronted with a large number of street children.

Media Education

As the cornerstone of society, the family plays a central role in the moral development of children. In the digital era, children and young people face challenges as their perceptions are not yet fully formed. Parents and schools are often inadequately prepared for this development.
The rapid spread of digital media is shaping the environment in which children grow up. It is the responsibility of parents and guardians to deal with the opportunities and risks of digital media and to emphasize media education in particular in order to protect the younger generation from the challenges of the modern world.
